Freshman WR Joshua Moore Has an Impressive Game Against USF

One freshman that really did stand out today wasn't on the defensive side this time, as Bryce Fitzgerald was last week, as he did record a pick today too, it was on the offensive side, on the receivers gorup in freshman wide out Joshua Moore.

We’ve been on the lookout for Moore to make his mark, and this game was the one where it looked like the spark was finally there.

Moore and quarterback Carson Beck only connected three times, but those three catches were huge. He finished with 61 yards and two touchdowns, averaging just over 20 yards each catch. His biggest play was a 39-yard grab that showed how dangerous he can be down the field, and it wasn't easy catches either.

For a freshman, this was a strong showing. Moore proved he can be a real weapon in the passing game and someone Beck can trust when the Hurricanes need a big play.

If this is the start of what’s to come, Miami may have just found another young star at wide receiver, going with freshman Malachi Toney.

Check out some of his highlights from the game down below, enjoy!

Great hands and great separation on both TDs. Makes it look easy. Joshua Moore is the real deal for sure‼️ WR room is deep, talented and hard working. Credit to the coaches for recruiting and developing a great room.

He should have had a big one v ND if i remember correctly. He was a little passive and let it get into his chest though.
