Francis Mauigoa Says He’ll “Die” For Jaxon Dart After Being Drafted No. 10 By Giants

Former Miami Hurricanes offensive lineman Francis Mauigoa was selected by the New York Giants on Thursday night in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Mauigoa was like every other player getting their name called, going up to put the hat on, but during his interview with the reporter on live television, Mauigoa had a special message for Giants starting quarterback Jaxson Dart.

“I die by this ****, man. Man, I’m going to die for you, man. I know a lot of things have happened, but I’m ready to die for you,” stated Francis.

Now you maybe be asking, what's he meaning by "I know a lot of things have happened,". Well, the Giants offensive line provided very poorly for quarterback Jackson Dart this past season, giving up a total of 48 sacks this past season to opponents.

Mauigoa was one of the first biggest splashes in Hurricanes head coach Mario Cristobal’s tenure. He believed in Mario, and now he has been drafted inside the top 10 of the draft.

The Giants are now adding Mauigoa alongside veteran Giants offensive lineman Lucas Patrick, who just recently signed a deal with New York.

Francis was a key piece to why the Hurricanes offensive line was so good this past season. He started all 42 games of his career at the right tackle position for Miami and was the main piece for one of the best offensive line units in the country in all three seasons.

The Giants now add one of the best offensive lineman in the NFL Draft to their offensive line. Great pickup from New York.

The PR team, publicist are good with the Poly heritage (props) promotions. They get the sun glasses off his face and have a media trainer clean up the message, words. Happy for him and where he landed with Harbaugh. What a moment for these few, congrats SiSi.
What a moment for us Canes fans who haven't lived this before and those like me who finally get to experience this again, after so long. I have lived long enough to see the Bama's and USC's go dormant for a decade or so and come back. When a program goes dormant for 20 years, like Miami, they usually don't return to a powerhouse status, ever again. Congrats and God bless SiSi, Rueben and Mesi along with the rest of the Canes coming in this draft. To the whole 25 Miami Hurricanes football program, thank you.

Bro, i thought i mis-heard that when he said that ****! LMAO! I was like Rick Flair in that moment. Get yo bag young man! Dart aint got nothing to worry about no more with a warrior like you.

Nothing like the hyperbole and cliches during interviews at the NFL draft. Ok, maybe a second to the introductory press conferences for head coaches.

What’s so special, our kids don’t want to leave even being 1st round draft choices they all speak of wanting back in the locker room .

Some with our current team all want to stay with there team.

We all know a couple years ago everybody was NFL ready they left and got cut . They must look back at what they gave up .

With this mindset Miami has and excellent chance of running the table to NC , what a mentality tough hard nosed team with really no weaknesses.

AMAZING

Giants/Canes fan here. Did Mauigoa's family move to south FL when he was at IMG or Miami?

And proctor was heard saying, he'll kill any body that eats the last donut
