Four Miami Hurricanes players have been named to the Athlon Sports Preseason All-American list.
Miami running back Mark Fletcher, defensive lineman Ahmad Moten, and wide receivers Cooper Barkate and Malachi Toney have been named to the Athlon Sports Preseason All-American List.
This past season, Fletcher was one of the most powerful running backs in all of College Football. He recorded a total of 1,192 rushing yards on 216 carries, and tallied 12 rushing touchdowns.
Moten finished last season with 31 tackles and 4.5 sacks. Over three seasons with the Hurricanes, he put up 51 tackles and 5.5 sacks, plus an interception in 2023 against Boston College. Many media outlets have Moten going in the first or second round of the NFL Draft.
Cooper was one of the highest-rated wide receiver transfer in the country. He transferred to Miami with his quarterback Darian Mensah from Duke. This past season with the Blue Devils, he recorded 72 receptions for 1,106 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.
