Elijah Arroyo Shines During Senior Bowl Week

The Senior Bowl game takes place Saturday at the University of South Alabama, but the most important evaluations are at practice. One of the biggest standouts of the week and arguably the top tight end in attendance is former Hurricane, Elijah Arroyo.

Arroyo checked in above expectations at 6'4.5 and 251 pounds. Trevor Sikkema of Pro Football Focus says he has played his way into possibly being the 3rd TE drafted. Daniel Jeremiah of NFL Network, who previously had Arroyo at #49, predicts there will be first round buzz coming out of the weekend.

Arroyo caught 35 passes for 590 yards and 7 touchdowns this season for the Hurricanes. At one point last season, Arroyo's top speed was measured at 21.8 mph. Only six NFL players had a higher max ball carrier speed all season in 2024.

You can catch Arroyo at the Senior Bowl on Saturday at 2:30 pm on NFL Network.

Medicals will be the obstacle, but some team may risk it. Top 1/2 of the 2nd round only because of the knee concerns. If not he'd be late first.

Sadly, yes they would be.
Kelce turns 36 during next season… I just can’t see him taking too many more turns around the block. They have to be in the market for a replacement and Arroyo would fit perfectly.

My Redskins, err Commanders need to take him. We need help in a lot of areas, but Ertz is getting old and we need young weapons for Daniels.
With JD as his QB and that offense I think he would blow up there! Would be a great spot for him.
The Bills could use a good TE as well, but not sure he'd shine as much with them.

Arroyo makes that catch that Bills TE dropped other day

Dallas met with Martinez apparently . My fingers are crossed!

Huge Martinez fan. Interested to see how his style of play translates to the NFL. Even if he goes to the Cowboys, I will wish him success. Dude killed it all year, like Arroyo, but half our fans thought he was 3rd-4th best back on the team. Constantly calling for Lyle over him. We saw what happened when Martinez was taken off the field. Anyway, that's neither here nor there.

A good 40 would have been huge for him.
Obviously will run at our pro day but feel like those numbers are always skewed and not taken as serious as combine.

He will end up being a day 1 or 2 pick, I can see Arroyo to broncos in round 1
