Jai Lucas and the Miami Hurricanes could not have gotten off to a better start at Miami after landing two top-50 commits in the 2025 class.

One of Miami's recruits in the 2025 class is Dante Allen, who is ready to team up with five-star Shelton Henderson following his decision made on Monday afternoon.

“Definitely excited to have another high level player on the team who seems excited to work. Haven’t said much just we’re ready to get there and we’ve played a few years ago but not recently.” Said Allen.

Dante Allen also spoke on why he chose the Miami Hurricanes and how he is going to be putting on for his city:

“Overall it felt the place I was could get the best form of player I could be and also play against the best competition in the country while playing with high level players (older and younger) and coaches.” Said Allen.

Henderson is a 6-foot-6, 220-pound small forward, he is ranked the No. 21 player in the nation, the fourth-best small forward in the class of 2025, and the second-best player in the state of Texas per the 247Sports Composite ranking.

When Jai Lucas took over as head coach at Miami, he told the nation that keeping players in Florida would be a key. He has already made progress by recruiting Dante Allen, Tre Donaldson, Malik Reneau, and Ernest Udeh Jr., all of whom were raised in the state. Lucas added Henderson from Texas, having attended Henderson's high school. Additionally, Andrew Moran played a key role in bringing in the Nightrydas players, including Allen.

I can’t wait to see this duo next season!
