Key West (FL.) defensive lineman Josh Johnson, a 6-foot-5, 270-pound, playing his ball at Key West High School, narrowed his list on Tuesday afternoon to just two schools.

The Miami Hurricanes and Mario Cristobal's squad made the cut for the defensive lineman, alongside a Florida foe, in the Florida Gators.

Johnson is considered a three-star talent by all four major recruiting sites. He's a top 80 player at his position and the No. 735 overall prospect in the 2027 class, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

According to 247Sports, Johnson is currently crystal balled to land at Miami. On3's Recruiting Predicting Machine is leaning towards Miami with a 94.1% chance to land the defensive lineman.

Johnson is being recruited by head coach Mario Cristobal and Miami's Director of Recruiting Frank Tucker, the Hurricanes appear to have done an excellent job of laying the framework to potentially land the three-star talent.

He would be a great addition depth piece to add in the defensive lineman room for the Hurricanes.
