Clark Kellogg: "This Miami team can do some damage in the next week or two."
CBS Sports analyst, Clark Kellogg, gave high praise to Jai Lucas's Miami Hurricanes team this morning on the CBS Sports show.
Kellogg is one of, if not, the best basketball player to come out of the city of Cleveland. He was a former standout player at Ohio State, where he was drafted the No. 1 pick to the Indiana Pacers. Now, you can see Kellogg on the big screen as you sit on the couch, as he is now a longtime college basketball analyst.
So, yeah, Lucas just got high praise by someone who is one of the main voices of March Madness.
Kellogg likes what Jai Lucas is doing at Miami, and can see Miami going deep in the bracket. Here is what Kellogg had to say this morning:
"I want to give a shoutout to Jai Lucas, one of the outstanding first year coaches in a new place doing great work at Miami. That Miami team is explosive, keep an eye on Tre Donaldson, he's been terrific running the show. They've got a freshman, Shelton Henderson, who has been outstanding. So this team could do some damage in the next week or two." said Kellogg.
Lucas has done an incredible job with Miami this season. After taking over a team that went 7–24 last year, Lucas had Miami just one win away from the winningest regular season in program history.
Jai Lucas will now sit at home tomorrow, wondering where they will land in the March Madness Bracket on Sunday. Miami is projected to be a No. 7 seed in the bracket.
