Former Miami Hurricanes standout Xavier Restrepo and No. 1 pick Cam Ward have shown impressive chemistry during the Tennessee Titans' minicamps.

According to a post by Jim Wyatt, Ward got off to a rocky start, throwing an interception on his third pass, but he rebounded with 18 consecutive completions, going a perfect 14-for-14 during team drills.

Over the three minicamp practices, Ward completed 42 of 58 passes combined in the 7-on-7 and team periods, according to the Titans.

Titans beat reporter Jim Wyatt also noted that "Ward and receiver Xavier Restrepo have great chemistry from their days at the University of Miami, and it was on full display on Tuesday."

Xavier Restrepo, who went undrafted, was picked up by the Titans due to his connection with Ward from their college days, and this connection is already paying off in the NFL. Reports indicate that Restrepo made six catches, leading the team during the minicamp.

The Titans' wide receivers coach had some positive stuff to say about the former Miami Hurricane wide receiver in Xavier Restrepo:

"Xavier, is savage to get open in the slot. People say, he's not a fast guy, well, you don't have to be fast to get open, there are a lot of guys that are not very fast that can get open, and he's been able to get open a lot."

The Zombieland celebration has reached the Titans, as they noted that Ward was enjoying some trash-talking. However, the defenders have been responding in kind. After Ward was intercepted by defensive back Davion Ross, a large group of defenders taunted the quarterback with the Zombieland celebration.

and to think there were guys on his own team that used to make fun of him bc he liked to grind. Goes to show how pathetic manny’s regime was. Glorified team cancers like Jeff Thomas and isolated consummate team players like this kid

Seeing these articles about X and how well he is doing it immediately made me think about the same thing and I looked up Mike Harley to see what he is up to these days.

Seriously, you have guys like that who showed up to practice high and you have guys like X who never took a snap/rep off.

I don't think Harley was part of the guys that clowned X

Was Harley one of the players that thought X was a try hard?

Those Titan reporters absolutely love the guy, they gush about his work ethic. It's amazing because I always heard he was a madman in the facility, outworking everyone in site, just like a pacman. I'm genuinely happy for this dude.
Been like that his whole life. As a coach/educator sometimes you encounter kids who you just KNOW are going to succeed in life no matter what path they choose. He's one of those rare kids.

I may have told this story before but...
He would be on a college tour... and STILL wake up early to get a workout in even though he was out-of-town on a visit. His work/mission took a backseat to nothing.
