Mario Crisotbal and the Hurricanes staff just wrapped up another big time recruiting weekend inside Coral Gables.

Miami hosted many top 2027 recruits during the Hurricanes first full week of spring practices this past week. In attendance was four-star Alabama cornerback commit Nash Johnson, who has been a Crimson Tide pledge since October 4th.

On social media, Johnson has been posting multiple photos of himself on the Hurricanes campus, including photos with head coach Mario Cristobal, defensive coordinator Corey Hetherman, and other coaches of the staff. Check them out below:

While Alabama is still strongly in the mix, Johnson says he’s hearing the most from Miami, Auburn, Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, LSU, Nebraska, and North Carolina.

Per the 247Sports Composite, Johnson ranks as the No. 540 overall prospect, the No. 54 cornerback in the 2027 class, and the No. 62 player in Georgia. He stands at 6-foot, 170 pounds.

Johnson has produced at a high level for McEachern High School, recording 19 total tackles, multiple pass breakups, and an interception during his junior season, according to MaxPreps.

He remains committed to Alabama for now, but with several official visits upcoming, his recruitment is one to monitor moving forward.
