CanesInSight was informed that Columbus five-star small forward Caleb Gaskins is unofficial visiting Miami today.
in the EYBL Circuit last month, Gaskins was dominating averaging 18.3 points and 8.1 rebounds per game.
According to the 247Sports ratings Gaskins is rated as the No. 12 player in the class of 2026, 3rd power forward and the No. 1 player in the Sunshine Stare.
Gaskins was a player the Hurricanes intended to recruit once Miami Hurricanes assistant coach Andrew Moran arrived at Miami, as Moran had coached him in high school last season at Christopher Columbus, where they won a national title. Additionally, Moran also coached him in AAU basketball with the Nightrydas, where they won the Peach Jam this past season.
As we stand today, I think Miami has an early lead on Gaskins.
