Four-star safety KJ Caldwell has set his commitment date after taking several visits to top Power Five programs, including Miami.
Caldwell has narrowed his list of finalists to five schools: Miami, Georgia, Tennessee, NC State, and Vanderbilt. He announced that he will make his college decision on April 3.
According to 247Sports, Caldwell is ranked as the No. 84 overall prospect, the No. 7 safety in the nation, and the No. 12 player in Georgia. He is a 6-foot, 176-pound safety.
He contributed in all three phases of the game for Parkview last year. On defense, he finished the year with 38 tackles, one interception, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery. On offense, he carried the ball 37 times for 264 yards and six touchdowns, and caught 10 passes for 71 yards. He also averaged 42.8 yards per kick return, returning one for a touchdown.
