Four-star shooting guard Austin Goosby, part of the class of 2026, has confirmed that he will be taking several official visits, including one to Miami in August.
Goosby informed On3 that he plans to visit Duke, Texas, Baylor, Miami, BYU, SMU, and UCLA, with his trip to Miami scheduled for August 22 to 24.
He is currently ranked as the No. 39 recruit in the 247Sports Composite rankings. In the 247Sports rankings, Goosby is listed as the No. 30 player in the nation, the 4th shooting guard in his class, and the No. 2 player in Texas.
He has also received offers from several teams, including Miami, Texas, Baylor, BYU, Florida State, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, SMU, Texas A&M, and UCLA, among others.
Goosby is attracting significant attention from the Texas Longhorns, especially since his older brother, Trevor Goosby, is an offensive lineman for the team. 247Sports currently has a crystal ball prediction favoring his commitment to Texas.
Goosby was named the Most Valuable Player in the Nike EYBL 17U All-Circuit, where he averaged 16.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 5.0 assists while coach Jai Lucas was in attendance.
