4-star RB David Segarra Sets April Visit To Miami

Four-star running back David Segarra out of Duncan, (SC.) where he plays high school football at Byrnes High School, has scheduled an unofficial visit to Miami, for April 11th.



The 5-foot-10, 205-pound running back will also see Indiana (May 15), Stanford (May 21), Tennessee (June 12), and South Carolina (June 19). He also has seen the Clemson Tigers campus eight times, during his recruiting cycle with the Tigers, also visiting South Carolina (7x) and Tennessee (7x). However, this will be the first time David will get the full experience in the Coral Gables area.

David is currently rated as a four-star prospect, according to all of the media rankings. According to the 247Sports composite rankings, he is ranked as the No. 145 player in the 2027 class, along with being the No. 7 running back in his class, and the No. 3 player to come out of the state of South Carolina.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, the home state South Carolina Gamecocks are projected to land the four-star running back, located just 90 miles away from campus, holding a 26.4 percent chance to land him.

Segarra holds offers from a long list of power five programs, including Alabama, Clemson, Duke, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Indiana, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Stanford, Tennessee, Texas, and Texas A&M, among many others.

According to MaxPreps, Segarra had an impressive season at James F. Byrnes High School, where he led his to a 8-4 record. During the 2025-26 season, Segarra carried the ball 174 times for 1460 yards on the ground. He also averaged 8.4 yards per game, and scored 17 touchdowns.
