Four-star offensive lineman Jimmy Kalis out of Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh has included the Miami Hurricanes among his top remaining choices after trimming his list down to six schools on Friday afternoon.
The 6-foot-8, 280-pound offensive tackle is also considering Clemson Tigers, Texas Longhorns, Ohio State Buckeyes, Georgia Bulldogs, and LSU Tigers.
Kalis has official visits set for LSU on April 17–19, Georgia on May 15–17, and Texas on June 5–7. He’s been active on the visit trail throughout his recruitment and has made multiple trips to Miami, with his most recent visit coming last March.
According to the 247Sports rankings, Kalis is a four-star prospect in the 2027 class, ranked No. 247 nationally, No. 24 at offensive tackle, and No. 10 among players from Pennsylvania.
The Canes continue to stack talent in the 2027 class on both sides of the ball, and Jimmy Kalis would be a major long-term addition up front at 6-foot-8, 285 pounds.
Miami holds four commitments in the 2027 cycle, highlighted by four-star WR Ah’Mari Stevens, three-star OT Zaquan Linton, four-star EDGE Demarcus Deroche, and four-star safety Jaylyn Jones.
