Miami continues to pursue top talent on the recruiting trail by offering a scholarship to four-star center Arafan Diane, who stands 7 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 260 pounds.

After an impressive couple of weekends on the AAU circuit, Diane announced on Thursday evening that he received a scholarship offer from Jai Lucas and the Miami Hurricanes.

Previously, Diane played for the Dynastie Sports Institute in Montreal, where he averaged 19.1 points, 11.7 rebounds, 1.4 blocked shots, and 1.4 assists per game in FIBA. He shot 33 percent from 3-point range, 55 percent from the field overall.

In recent days, Diane has also received offers from Indiana, SMU, Utah, Illinois, Kansas, UConn, Houston, and Purdue.

According to 247Sports, Diane is ranked as the nation's No. 23 player, the No. 1 center, and the top player from Iowa in the 2026 class.

Currently, Miami does not have any commitments in the 2026 class but has extended offers to many top high school recruits. At this time, Miami is trending positively for Caleb Gaskins; however, it is still early in his recruitment process. The Hurricanes are also trying to engage with five-star prospects like Dereon Rippley Jr. and Kohl Rosario, who is currently visiting Miami.
