Another day, another recruit trims their recruitment list, this time out of Mater Dei, California.
Four-star (Santa Ana, CA) cornerback Danny Lang trimmed his top remaining choices of where he will play College ball to just 10 schools. Coach Cristobals Hurricanes' were included in the update to his recruitment.
Along with the Hurricanes: Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Washington, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio State, Oregon, and USC all made his list of schools. He also holds offer from schools such as Arkansas, Baylor, Calfirnoa, Louisville, Florida, Kansas, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Tennessee, plus many other schools. He holds a total of 28 college offers.
The 6-foot, 160-pound cornerback is highly ranked upon the 247Sports rankings. He is currently ranked as the No. 100 best player in the 2027 class, along with being the No. 12 cornerback and the No. 11 player out of the state of California.
This past season, Danny stuffed the stat sheet. In 11 games as a sophomore for Mater Dei, the four-star totaled for 33 tackles, 3.5 for loss, two interceptions, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.
According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, he is currently projected to land at the USC Trojans with a 91.2 percent chance to land him.
He is currently scheduled to make his college deacons in the summer on July 2nd. He has seen the USC campus more than nine times during his recruitment with the Trojans.
