Local three-star Miami Southridge defensive linemen Antonio Wilcher told CanesInSight that the Miami Hurricanes are currently at the top of his recruitment as things stand today.
Wilcher told CanesInSight that multiple power-five schools are going after him the hardest in his recruitment: "Miami, Oregon, Louisville, Missouri, Florida, Texas A&M, and Florida State," said Wilcher.
Wilcher added that his relationship with the Hurricanes' coaching staff is 'good' and that Miami remains high in his recruitment.
According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Wilcher is currently viewed as a three-star prospect. The ranking service also lists Wilcher as the nation's No. 435 best player, No. 44 defensive linemen, and No. 57 player out of the Sunshine State.
This past season with Miami Southridge, Wilcher recorded a total of 33 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, while appearing in 10 games. He is currently listed at 6-foot-3, 300-pounds.
He told CanesInSight that he does not have any plans to visit Miami just yet.
