3-star CB Miami Target Devonte Anderson Sets Commitment Date

Three-star cornerback Devonte Anderson has set his commitment date after taking several visits to top Power Five programs, including Miami.



Anderson has narrowed his list of finalists to six schools: Miami, Auburn, Rutgers, Louisville, Maryland, and UCF, all of which he has visited. He announced that he will make his college decision on July 11th.

According to the 247Sports rankings system, Anderson is ranked as the No. 1010 overall prospect and the No. 84 cornerback in the nation, he also ranks as the No. 75 player out of the Sunshine State

He had an impressive junior season, making an impact on both sides of the ball. Defensively, he recorded 38 tackles, 10 pass breakups, and 3 interceptions. Offensively, he totaled 897 all-purpose yards and scored five touchdowns.

Can the Hurricanes secure a commitment from the Florida native, who plays at West Orange High School in Winter Garden? We’ll find out on July 11th.
