On Wednesday afternoon, class of 2028 defensive back Dion Edwards told CanesInSight that he will be in attendance for the Miami Hurricanes versus Florida State Seminoles rivalry game on October 17th.
Miami is one of the latest schools in his recruitment, offering him in June. He currently holds a total of seven offers form multiple programs including Miami, California, UNLV, Syracuse, Oregon State, and New Mexico, among others. He represents Junipero Serra High School in Hawthorne, California.
I spoke with Edwards after he received an offer from Miami: "What stands out most is the culture," he added. "You can feel the pride around Miami football, and the coaching staff does a great job of making recruits feel like they’re part of something bigger than themselves."
As Dion Edwards recruiting continues to heat up as his junior season is about to get underway, he will have multiple top programs making him a top-priority in their class.
