One minute, he talks about how today's generation of player couldn't even touch his generation's toughness and will to win, the next, he's talking about how the current players will take the next steps in their development because they (in his words) take the same ownership today his teams did in the 80s/early 90s. This sort of thing happens all the time in all team sports. It's not uncommon for veterans to get the "nod" before more talented but less experienced players. To say that it doesn't you are either stupid or you don't watch team sports.

If memory serves, he was only part of 3 Hurricane Natty squads. Pro career in a few leagues.
