Cristobal says TVD is practicing and getting better every day. They are optimistic.

Jacurri's package continues to expand with each week. He is running more of the offense now. He praises him for being a smart guy and working really, really hard in practice. "There is no flinch in him. He is not a guy that is nervous."

Cristobal praises Will Mallory for embodying everything he wants from a player. He says he can really run and has unbelievable hands. "When he is in the game, we are a lot better football team."

Alonzo Highsmith's expertise has been invaluable because he understands the drastic changes that need to be made to the program via talent acquisition. Highsmith also knows the UM culture and how it is supposed to look.

Cristobal praises Dennis Smith for the way he is relentlessly evaluating Miami's roster and everything that is out there.

They use multiple formations and they change things from game to game. They attack defensive schemes very effectively. There is always a wrinkle and a really good plan to start the game. He handles it all.”

on the FSU defense: “They do it in a number of different ways. They play really sound defense. They are very technical and fast on the edges. They have thick, powerful guys inside that have pass rushing ability. Their linebackers run really well and they are strikers. The secondary is long, physical, they can run and they do a great job of communicating.”

This is the only part I have a problem with. CIS coaches told me that Will was no good and should be benched.

Hate to admit it but the offensive assessment is spot on by Mario.

Need to make Jordan a passer only this game. Don’t let him escape because he will break our backs if so. We have trouble with mobile QBs.
