This is my gripe about people saying that this is on the kids. Ok, at the end of the day, they missed the tackle. I definitely understand that. But i still feel as if this is on the coaches.
Our players are literally regressing.
I dont know how many guys here have played football but its hard as heck to tackle a high profile athlete when you have to run from so far away due to the alignments of the defense.
Even if you start off good all it takes is one good run and your winded as fugg. Any Oc with a brain can pick up on it and just run our boys to death.
The playcalling, alignments, and bend but dont break philosophy are ruining these kids guys.
That play up there is some of our best players and tacklers missing tackles. you think they suck that bad or are they winded as fugg coming from 30 yards away to tackle a quick *** guy in the open field?
i dont care how talented you are. That ish is hard. Especially when you have to do it play after play after play.
