Visits Spring Game Visitors (April 14, 2023)

Is it just me or does every recruit Miami goes after want to take at least another 5-6 visits other places before committing? I mean even the low 3 stars want to make sure Rutgers is not the choice before committing it's just bizarre.

It's April I probably would want to take visits as well exp if I've never had the opportunity. I'd rather they visit now vs everyone being ****ed they are taking visits after they committed.

It’s Mario’s idea not theirs. We have kids that are ready to commit, but he wants them bought in completely. He also doesn’t mind them seeing the rest of the country and taking visits - you’re only recruited once out of high school (although transfer portal changes things but you get the point).

Now the drawback to this is a kid who is ready to get in the boat sees another campus or $$ and changes his mind. It happens. But I’d rather have it happen this way than say FSU or UF, who push for early commits and spend money doing so, and then get left at the altar when buddy decides to take a visit late. They’re always going to take those visits.

True but you would think there would be at least some players ready to go immediately, like that TE/WR kid that said he want's to visit Rutgers before committing.

He’s also not super high on our board (commitable offer don’t get me wrong, we want him…but we’re not begging for him to get in the boat yet) so it’s cool if he sees other places.

Yes, that's what's been released publicly so far. @Udynasty said there's the potential of at least another 5* coming. Who knows who else is a silent visitor.
