From the mid 1950s to the mid 60s, the Miami Hurricanes men's tennis team won 72 consecutive dual matches, lost one and then won another 137 consecutive matches. This is a NCAA all-time record that will probably never be broken. Nowadays, tennis teams play about 30 dual matches a year. The team to to come closest to the Canes streak was Illinois was their 64-match winning streak in 2003-04. Not even close. Another record the Canes can be proud of!
