AgreedThis was coming for a season or two (or three). Not many get to go out in their prime. He's just the most recent Beamer.
And like V-Tech, TCU likely will never again see the success they had under the outgoing regime.
Seems like he was there forever. I don’t remember what TCU was like before he got there. We don’t see that type of coaches anymore.
You do realize we won the last 2 games right? Nobody is getting fired for winning unless your LSU. If Manny losses a game this season he is gone. But if he wins out then they have a decision to makeIt just goes yo show that UM doesn't see football as a priority. At this point I don't see us making a change. We'll just have to cheer the kids on knowing they're not getting proper coaching.

Looks like they mutually parted ways.
I think their is more to this story. I don't think he would quit all of a sudden in the middle of the year after 20 years.
My first thought is Jeff Traylor from UTSA. He just signed a huge extension with UTSA but man TCU is tempting I would think.Dykes to TCU and Lashlee to SMU?
Isn’t he old to be a GA?Dykes to TCU and Lashlee to SMU?
