Visits Official & Unofficial Visitors June 6-11, 2023

I’m not gonna lie. If we caught wind of another school doing karaoke on a recruit visit in 2023 we would be in full-blown mocking mode.
Did the other schools also put the kids up at the Ritz Carlton and have dinner at Rusty Pelican? And this was a late night thing with parents in attendance?

If yes, then no…cannot mock it.

If no and they were put up at the local Hampton Inn and taken to Applebee’s….yes, sure, you have a point.

From Laulea's interview with Canesport:

There was Alonzo Highsmith jumping up front and singing “Tennessee Whiskey.” Mike Rumph sang “Stand By Me.” Recruiting assistant Tia Joseph drew cheers with what Laulea says was “a girly pop song – it was great.”

“That really showed the family of the program,” Laulea said. “There were eight different coaches that sang. You could just see how everybody felt at home.”

From what I saw on that Instagram clip, everyone was loving it..... seemed pretty rowdy

Definitely "humanizes" the staff. makes Mom & Dad feel like their kid will be in a family environment -

Of course, you must be right, I’m sure we would say “oh it’s OK, they did karaoke because they went to the Ritz Carlton, my bad”

we would have discretion.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I didn’t say that they didn’t love it I’m saying we would mock the living **** out of it in reverse regardless. We have mocked things that recruits seem to be having a good time with relentlessly from other schools

My comment has nothing to do with whether or not they all loved it, if they did it at LIV even, because we still would mock it if it happens somewhere else.

no matter how it really was and how much they loved it, If it had happened somewhere else, we would be like what a great recruiting trip we went to the coaches house and sang karaoke

I Want to be clear that I don’t think it matters I’m just talking about how Amazing it would be to see the takes on the site in Gator tears if Florida did it

I hear you broham. But That's how it is in sports. I hated Tom Brady...until he joined the bucs. Then I was like:

Man gonna try and troll rivals even if they pick up 2 5 stars. "Bet they turn bust like the last 5 stars". I do farely frequent karaoke at my house with my friends. Its one of the best way to bond and get people to open up. Napier renting luxury vehicles to parade around is corny, Karaoke is not, whichever school does it.

The gaytors did karaoke at their OV with the DC singing R Kelly and lots of mocking took place in the gaytor tears thread.

Correct we roasted them in Gators tears after they put them in a crappy hotel, gave them Walmart Cinnamon Rolls, took them to Dave and Busters to play skee ball, and catered some crappy dinner at some place in Gainesville and got a personal ride with Billy in a BMW for 5 minutes each.

Did you see our convoy? They had luxury SUV's with drivers take them wherever they went.

They relaxed at Mario's house in a more intimate setting with everyone to show that "family element" which you need to be able to do with them all after they've been wined and dined at some of Miami's best establishments and put up at the Ritz in the Grove. Easier to sit down, relax, have some nice food and drink and comfortable to converse with the recruits and their families. I personally don't like or do karaoke, but if they decided to do it after a long weekend then so be it.
