Perhaps the most noteworthy item to impact both FBS and FCS recruiting is the move to 33 “evaluation days” in the fall months – September, October, November – when designated staff from member institutions can be off-campus to assess potential student-athletes.

I could see certain schools unofficially affiliating with Group of 5 and FBS schools to utilize their "designated staff" to assess potential student athletes. So in other words, the University of South Alaska State acts as a proxy for the blue blood, thereby maximizing the potential reach of the blue blood.

I think there's a clause somewhere exempting Saban and Smart from any of the rules anyway. Not even in the fine print. You know, unspoken 🤫
