I get that he's young, I get that you didn't do a full install for him, but you should be able to at least run SOME tempo. He isn't a complete idiot(Or so I've been led to believe), so give him the opportunity to make a play. This is why I said earlier that you COACH TO WIN. Not even giving him a chance to do something isn't coaching to win. It's coaching to avoid a disaster, which rarely works out.
