Lance better give up less than 100 yards week 1 and Dawson better score 80 points. If this doesn't happen I say we gas up the planes.

**** we bringing planes out already?? Usually we don't bring them out until end year 2...beginning of year 3.

How about we run some maintenance, fill up the gas, maybe pre-order the banners. Flying the banner week 1 seems a little early.

Yea, think I would rather see him coming off the edge in passing down packages. Mike is a seasoned players position. Guess we will find out soon tho.
Reeks of the whole Sam Brooks transition that didn’t work. I hope he figures it out.

We have elite talent on the edge and while he excelled on the edge he’s not big enough (🐾 🐾) to be consistent there… hopefully this move works out for him and us.

Yea he’s light for sure on the edge. I was more so thinking an OLB that walks up on the edge. Pulling for him for sure, and for us lol

Because we’re running a 4-2-5 we’d have to be ELITE at the majority of the positions in the back seven to get away with that gamble and sadly we’re not there yet. And I’m not talking about elite in talent… but in play on the field. But like you I’m looking forward to us being able to be creative like that.

Arthur Smith, HC of ATL Falcons, recently said, “Positionless football is here. The days of playing one position on defense outside of a few elite elite guys is over. You need position versatility to make the 53 man roster.”
Cannon’s bro.

Not sure if it’s; last years showing, the years of hype that lead to us still sucking, the state of the ACC, the state of college football, the gut feeling this years team is just not very good, the success of basketball, my own daughter starting kindergarten next week or a combination of them all but i have yet to get hyped about a new season starting.

Very true. Being a hybrid type player is becoming an asset for some guys.

Ive never seen multiple multi year injuries like this on one team.. Zion went from being back for last season to not even knowing when he will be back?! Seriously what is goin on
I have no idea because nobody wants to just spit it out and say what exactly is going on from a medical perspective. From what I understand Nelson had his knee scoped/cleaned out last summer in what I understand is a fairly routine procedure. He was supposed to be back at the start of last season or miss 2-3 games at the most.

What I want to know is how exactly does the situation go from that to missing practically the entire 2022 season, the whole 2023 off season with the possibility of missing the entire 2023 season? What exactly is the nature of these "setbacks"?
