If there is one recruitment we cannot lose its this one. DJ Pickett is more that just a 5 star DB who can play CB or Safety. This young man is a once in a decade type talent with the ability to not only start right away but to completely change the complexion of the secondary. Guidry's scheme needs kids who can play man coverage and who have positional versatility. DJ Pickett brings all of that and more. Guidry can line Pickett up at Boundary or Field CB, FS or Nickel. Plus he is obviously a legacy. Mario knows how important this young man is.

Defensively we are very close to having a roster of elite talent 2 deep at every position. We are going to bring in another monster DL and LB class to go with what we already have there. Bringing in Pickett and pairing him with Ben Hanks Jr and Chris Ewald at CB and Amari Wallace, Bryce Fitzgerald and possibly Hilton Stubbs or a comparable talent at Safety and suddenly we look much closer to what a Miami secondary should look like. Put that together with what we have in Damari Brown, Jadais Richard, Robert Stafford, Zaquan Patterson etc and Guidry will have more weapons than he has ever had before as a DC.

Agree with you on all points…just pointing out that this will be real expensive if money is the only thing that matters….
