Explosive, runs the floor well. Solid handle, willing defender. Can’t really tell how he is as a shooter from this highlight reel, but he’s a lot more athletic than I expected for a sub 250 ranked player.

Agree. He has some springs in his legs , solid handle with both hands , keeps his head up on drives finding guys , good passer and attacks the passing lanes on defense. I wouldn’t be shocked if this one ends up sneaky good pick up. Another good late pickup by Coach L.

He’s done well late in the cycle. Ky George last year. Shane Larkin and Manu Lecomte were in the late spring too.

2024 PF Cheikh Ndiaye Highlights During Senior Season​

Some thoughts based on ~1:30 of highlights:

+ Impressive size and frame. He's all of 6'8/6'9 and 220+ lbs
+ His shot mechanics and spot up ability are surprisingly good, with good range out to the three point line. Clean release as well.
- Footwork is a bit of a mess and he brought the ball down low several times in those clips, where he's prone to getting stripped.
- His competition level looks rec league bad so I have no clue how his game projects at the next level.

If we're using all 13 spots, he's scholarship #13. Otherwise, we need someone who'd be more plug and play than this. Sam Houston State just offered and I personally think that probably suits him better at this stage than jumping all the way to the ACC.
