5’10 185lbs 4-star CB out of TX, goes to La Grange
Had a great Junior season with 1,006yds & 15TD’s rushing, 336yds & 6TD’s receiving, 27tcks 6PBU’s 2INT’s 2FR’s & 1TFL on Defense, plus 150yds in KR’s & 64yds in PR’s, 575yds in Punts & 4 Return TD’s.
Versatile athlete that plays in all 3-phases of the game, RB, WR, CB, S, KR/PR, even Punter & played a game at QB once when their normal starter got hurt & he ended up throwing for over 200yds. Natural playmaker; doesn’t come off the field, his position is Football player, but he projects best on the next level at CB. Is a smooth swift runner with incredibly quick feet & gliding transitional movement, running with suddenness & burst displaying elite quick-twitch ability.
Plays mostly Off-cover zone, but @1:21 showed very good eye discipline & hip fluidity in Press Man coverage. Read his man perfect not falling for the hesitation diamond release & quickly flipped his hips to get his head around & make a play on the ball.
@2:07 did a good job playing Boundary & using the sideline as an extra defender to slow down the route & cut off the WR’s angle while making a play on the ball & getting the PBU. Again showed natural instinct to get his head around & track the ball in the air.
His overall technique needs refinement like most HS Corners, but he has all the tools to be an excellent Field Corner on the next level. He’s listed at 5’10 on 247 but has been listed as 5’11 also, but either way he has long arms with a lengthy physical frame to where he will be able to cover taller WR’s without issue despite being shorter.
ELITE physical traits with top tier Speed & has clocked 4.38-4.45 40’s.
Plus really good 100m times & is a good overall track athlete as well.

He first committed to TAMU back in April & was seemingly locked in with them for the majority of his recruitment having visited College Station at least 5 times between Spring & Summer. But, he however just decommitted from TAMU just yesterday & he reopened his recruitment. It’s believed that LSU, UT, UGA, Oregon & USC are the among the schools who are going to be pursuing him the most.
Miami hasn’t offered, but I believe we should. Chances are slim, but we’d have just as much of a shot with a kid like this than we do with our current FL CB prospects we’re after, so might as well throw our hat in the ring too
