Majority of the kids going to Miami or these kind of schools prefer Jordan / Nike. That’s just facts. Every little bit helps in recruiting and this would help.

Jordan would 100 % help with recruiting Tge people saying it’s a basketball brand just don’t get it. It would be a huge upgrade over adidas with kids.

Yep and we have idiots here acting like Phil Knight is suddenly walking down the streets handing out Nike duffles. So Phil started caring when Mario arrived? Or maybe Mario is an actual beast recruiter. Beens that’s been his reputation since forever.

The occasional top ten class is Miami‘s issue, mixed with god awful coaching. We haven’t had consecutive top ten classes in forever. Whats the best class of late ? 11? Under Mario we’ll likely stay in the top ten, with the occasional top 5-6. Which gets you to the table if the coaching is good.

I don’t buy near the merch as I did when it was Nike. I just don’t like most of their designs and their shoes. Tbh I’ve bought more adidas since we made the jump and it’s not a lot.

Three of their last four hires have been from within. I wouldn’t be shocked if they did it again. Phil invests in the facilities but he doesn’t splurge on coaches, at least in recent history. Even their recruiting didn’t explode until Mario arrived.

All jokes aside Adidas makes the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever wore. But if you drop say an ink pen on your foot you could break a toe.

I know that Miami people aren’t crazy about the adidas deal. I also know of former players and other influential people that believe Miami school. Just like most of us older fans. That hasn’t been a secret for awhile. If Mario was to come I’d think there’s a shot we go to Nike or Jumpman. Also...

Btw all the people making jokes about possibly leaving for Nike or Jordan should calm it down a little. That is definitely something that’s been discussed.

X is hit or miss with what I see. He can be out there sometimes. The Flo guy is a lot better , at least with his info versus X and some others. He’s legit.
