Omier enters name in NBA draft(commits to Baylor)

Also don’t know if it’s been mentioned but Luke over at 247 is saying Omier signed with an NCAA agent so he could technically still come back, and he hasn’t heard anything definitive either way.
Regardless, I don't think the staff is expecting him back

Won’t get drafted. If he wants to sign as UDFA more power to him. Think he can play a couple years as a backup if he can improve his 3 point shooting. Or play for 15 years in Europe.
he just wants to go pro and seems like he understands it may not be in the NBA.

NBA teams aren't willing to wait for a great value Draymond. No one is willing to wait for someone to develop into a decent role player, that lucked into the perfect system for their skillset. People forget that even at his best, Draymond was borderline useless if he played for any other team. He was a key cog on a dynasty, but his skillset didn't translate to many teams outside of Golden State. Teams aren't willing to wait, when they have guys that already have that skillset and can play right now. He'd make a killing in Europe and Asia, and honestly, that's his likely future. Nothing wrong with that. I look at guys like Lonnie, Bruce, and Zay, players that were far more NBA ready and how they've had to fight and scrap just to get minutes, I don't know if Norchad has a future in today's NBA.
The entire second round is just teams saying, "maybe we can get a cheap role player out of this kid." 95% of those guys start out in the G-League/get stashed overseas so they can develop. Most never make it out, but a handful every year do.

Appreciate Norchad. Sun belt star to all ACC. But he better have his agent call starbury agent and make his way to china.

His HS coach, Pilin Alvarez, confirmed to Michelle Kaufman that Norchad is 100% gone and has heard from scouts he's got a decent shot at making an NBA roster although it might be a 2 way type of deal. If he gets a combine invite, he will impress with his physicality and toughness.

He'd have to get a training camp invite to have a shot at a two way

His NIL opportunities might not be that great being an international player. A common complaint from international players is that they can't earn much without risking their visa, so that may have made this decision easier for him.
zach eddy had this issue since he was here on a student visa from canada.

Correct. Student visas limit what you can do. You need a work visa to earn real money.
