Days since Nebraska rolled us: 3

Turning of tide notes:

-media starting to turn up the heat
-former players getting restless
-donors not happy, willing to withdraw

please feel free to add dumb quotes by the coaches, eye popping stats, alignment buffoonery.

Yeah, cause we don't have any threads doing that.

I don't think I'll do either. But, thanks for the suggestion.

Asked if it's a physical issue with Wyche or more a case of him not understanding the defense, D'Onofrio said, "He's getting in better shape. He's improved every week. Now is he improved enough to where he's ready to go into it?"

They are the best at deflecting questions....another sign of a callous liar

* DT Michael Wyche remains mired down the depth chart.

"He didn't play in this game," D'Onofrio said. "We're continuing to try to develop him, get him ready. We test him out during the week just to see where he's at. He gets reps during the week."

freakin idiot

D'Onofrio said he doesn't think there's a big difference in UM's 3-4 vs. 4-3 attack in terms of results.

The U has won a ton 'ships in the 4-3...what have you won? That's the only stat we care about.

Philosophically a lot of it's the same," he said, adding that "We just have to continue to move forward. There are certain things that we did well in the first three games that we didn't do well in this game. We know we're capable of doing that. We just have to do it more on a consistent basis."

BLAH...ruining our program

D'Onofrio said that Duke does some of the same things Nebraska does in the run game.

"We've seen it here for a number of weeks, everyone has some form of read option where the quarterback's a threat," D'Onofrio said. "Duke is a team that certainly does that and does that well."

So are you saying you are very inept at your job or you haven't seen it enough to stop it? what is it coach?

D'Onofrio said after the plane landed Sunday morning at around 6 that he stayed at the office all day ... and he didn't sleep on the plane as he works to get this fixed

all that late night worrying about sharpening your resume can't be good for your liver coach

"We missed too many, and yards after contact were a big issue. That's something a lot of times if you have a guy making a play at the line of scrimmage but (the runner) is falling forward for five yards, well the defense was set to be second-and-10 and now it's second-and-five. Those are just things we have to continue to work on and coach and emphasize. We have to do a better job of executing. That's on all of us and it starts with me. And the guys know, they know. They watched the tape, they understand where we're at. We're all in it together. It 's a good unified group, we have good leadership. Our guys will continue to fight and continue to improve."

four years and running WASH, RINSE, REPEAT....where's BOMB at? He can swallow this **** better than any of us ever could.

"generally we probably pressured 60 percent of the time, which means if we do that we only have one safety deep if we're doing that. There's no crystal ball. Is it a run down, is it a pass down?

brain dead is all i can say....perhaps coach thinks this is arena football where the guys run up to the LOS before the ball is hiked.

What's the situation? But we had defenders down to stop the run. We had somebody assigned, somebody accounted for, the free player a lot of the time. And a lot of the times we just came up short. I'll take the responsibility for that and continue to try to coach the guys up so that we can execute better. But as far as run philosophy and them running the ball, we had numbers where we needed to have numbers. We just didn't have execution."

GEE WHIZ...Boys I got a **** headache right there. Mike Barrow left for what reason again?

hey anybody got time for a good game of dodgeball??
