This guy and the new DL Grad Assistant Azar Wilson shared one coach they worked for in common. Specifically, this DC at North Carolina A&T (Wilson) and later North Carolina Central (Sewell): https://ncataggies.com/sports/football/roster/coaches/courtney-coard/290...

Working on moving to central Florida <fingers crossed>. Been here often these last few years as wife has a place in the area. I like it that is roughly in the middle of state, close to soFla but also relative close to both coasts.

Yeap...I know the feeling...I graduated from the other UM in Maryland and while I root for the Terps against everyone except Canes and also root for the neighborhood (Navy) team, it's still all about the Canes. Heck, the Terps have arguably had better baseball team the last few years yet I don't...

I grew up in soFla, living there 10 of my first 17 years of life. I have lived in the Balt-DC area since the early 1980s. I still consider soFla home. I know I'm not alone.

To be honest, I was rooting for Evan Cooper as he seems to be doing a good job recruiting, especially soFla. But this guy sounds promising and he's done good work at Marshall. He did get fired at Kansas after one year on Leipold's staff, but I suspect that was more to do with Kansas HC wanting...
