I believe he was a grad asst at UM during the early 2000s....later coaching for Chud with the Colts.

They had a coach at that Colorado school named Bob Stitt who was a highly-regarded offensive mind. Coaches from the Leach, Mumme and Rich Rodriguez tree knew him well. Sitting later moved up to Montana but didn't last long at that school. Edit: sorry...didn't realize Hollyhood, Jay, etc had...

I really like how Dino Babers hires coaches, many times coaches nowhere near his tree. At times UM could have used some of that thinking, if not courage.

Nope. Because he has strong coaching ties and has been on many watch lists for young and rising college football coaches. Everything doesn't revolve on UM football and Gattis.

This guy ran a very interesting if not productive offense at Nebraska-Kearney...kind of triple-option meets passing offense. It will be interesting to see how much of his offense is implemented at Army.

Good coach and very good recruiter, especially in Florida.
