Adidas and ACC are not the only things we are leaving. Hint. Hint.

Is it, really? You old heads will get over it. That logo is different than any other logo, including Nike’s.

IMO, no NBA player should wear #23 and no Canes player should wear #26.

I was courtside (practically) for that game. Only time I wore an opponents jersey against my team. MJ went off for 20 in first half and crowd cheered louder for him. I’ll never understand the narrative of a “basketball” logo on a football uniform. That logo is so much more than “basketball.

Embarrassment is a bit harsh. Our design is clean. The feathers, mustache, Xmas helmets, and bra strap uniforms were embarrassing.

The difference now is Miami has real leadership and isn’t treating themselves like a $100 *****. In the past, we allowed Nike to use us as a Guinea pig and didn’t care. I think (hope)those days are over and Miami can dictate (like 98% of the programs) what our image will be.

I can’t wait to be proud of our uniforms again. Haven’t felt that way since 2003. When we make the switch, hopefully continue looking like the Miami Hurricanes. That’s my biggest fear with Nike. I like our current designs but the quality ruins it for me. I’m an MJ guy above all else so that...

Are you are implying Miami would be traveling, this week, to Eugene and negotiating with Nike, without an Athletic Director, because other “multiple people” want out of our contract with Adidas (with 6-7 years left of the contract) if Mario wasn’t in the picture? If so, you’re out of your mind...

“What you are overlooking is that BOTH Nike AND adidas have treated Miami more poorly as we lost more and more games.” Isn’t this you? Like I said, this is not accurate info. I have no agenda but clearly you do reading that long winded post. My info is legit. Adidas and Miami have been very...

My guy who works at the University of Miami and is very close to the situation with Adidas strongly disagrees with you about Adidas treating us poorly but carry on with that narrative. It’s not accurate.

You make many valid points and I never understood why Miami became Nike’s guinea pig for uniforms; however, Nike is guilty for treating us like crap, at the end. Players were not getting proper equipment and gear from Nike as promised legally. Hence, why the players and staff were loving Adidas...

Nike treated us like ****. That’s a fact. Nike was a lower bidder than Adidas. That’s a fact. It’s simple business. Miami did the right thing here. Blake James was a horrific AD (another fact) but he did the right thing in this case.

Im a MJ guy but have no issues with Adidas. The Nike cult online is mad bizarre. Don’t even bother with them. I just want to look like the Canes that I love and don’t care what logo does it.

TIFWIW because I’m no insider but this is because of Mario. They found a loophole and they are “trying” to kill two birds with one stone.
