VJ Edgecombe 5* SG from Long Island (via the Bahamas)

I've been to Waco and it would be on the bottom of any conceivable list I can imagine. Maybe he and his family are Baptists.

Nothing wrong with that. He's been up at school on Long Island for awhile so he's had the NY experience as well.

I was surprised he came back last season. Even more surprised he stayed for 2023-24. We have more than our share of "mis-evaluations" recently with high school recruits. Close to a half dozen over the past five years -- Jovanovich, Aire, Timberlake, Jakai, and maybe Casey, Watson and Nwoko as...

I'm not making any predictions. You may be right and, if so, I wish the kid all the best. He should go wherever he wants.

Of course. None of us knows his situation. Maybe he's got a load of family in NYC, or wherever. Or, as you say, just wants a change of scenery. On the face of it though, there is so much "adjustment" all college frosh have to deal with -- distance from home, snow and ice, food and lodging...

Exactly. Easiest situation for his family to see him play.

Someone tell me why a Bahamian would not have UM at the top of their list of schools? Gotta be the best lifestyle and cultural fit.
