My thought with Lane was that his product would recruit itself (winning 9-10 games), particularly offensively. Plus since you don’t have to worry about one side of the ball, you can spend money on a DC. But he can’t recruit like this (the blue chip flips). Not many can.

Two things to note from these comments. 1. Never doubt Mario in recruiting, he continues to perform best late in the shot clock 2. If more flips are coming, it’s only fair to assume some fat needs to and will be trimmed, just looking at it from a numbers perspective.
