Cohen pretty close. Then you have a cast of solid contributors who admittedly aren't first to third rounders. Maybe Messidor can sneak into round three with a great season? ... Here's hoping we get a true WR#1 in the next two months. All will be forgiven if so! ... Well much will be forgiven...

I'll say this. I will feel a whole lot better about our chances of breaking out of the 6-8 win guardrails into 9-10 wins with a healthy TVD and a #1 WR from the portal. We still need to fill holes at OT, DT, LB and DB. But the biggest issue we have by far is offensive production.

I hear you. A lot of heartbreak, money and effort has gone into rebuilding what Donna tore down. But I gave Radio, Fat AG and Manuela 2 years or more. I'm going to give Mario his 2-3 as well. ... I felt he was an awesome hire and still believe that. He'll get this ship turned around.

Empirical you're calling him Big Manny now? Man, we're a tough crowd, lol

I'll be ecstatic if you guys are right. But I wouldn't be disappointed at 8 wins and wouldn't be shocked at 7. I see 20 years of failure, an impostor former head coach in Manuela, and a barren cupboard of talent that is still in full rebuild phase. That is enough for me to be patient as long as...

Because I see what Manny left Mario... Also, Manuela had already run the defense for 3 years. He had no excuse in terms of rebuilding that side of the ball, yet it was atrocious. Apples v oranges.

8-4 is not enough for you given where we ended last season and the swiss cheese we still have along our 2 deep? ... I am sure they "can" win more than 8, but I don't expect it. IMO, this is a multi-year rebuild and we need another Top 10 class and another solid portal haul to start expecting 10+...

I've believed that since we got him.

I'm right there with you. And the crazy thing is Mauigoa is the more plug-and-play player right now. ... I'm not saying they won't start. Just saying I expect Nelson and Rivers to hold them off in 2023. Or at least I expected that. But if Ghandi is saying Rivers is already being overtaken, then...

Glass half full says we dramatically underperformed last season (plus TVD was injured) and have upgraded this off-season with more to come from the portal in the next 2 -3 months. Not expecting to be natty champs. But can we find a way to get to 8+ wins? That would be a good start.

The portal will look very different in a few weeks.

You can be happy with your starters and still want to bring in more top-end guys. We desperately need another OT, IMHO. And if Rivers kicks out there, we need another IOL.

Respectfully disagree. I think Pancake and Maiu can be AAs under Mario and Mirabal. But I don't care how physically ready you are as a first year college student, the probability of you replacing two experienced and talented players like Rivers and Nelson as a starter is a huge stretch. Those...

That's a two deep that could do some damage in the ACC. Second-team OL still has a lot of questions. Still hope we're crazy active in the portal post-Spring.

Covid was the best thing to ever happen to Manny's recruiting.

Man, if Keontra can get that dawg back in him, he could do something. I felt he had so much potential coming out of HS. Thought Strong would be able to make something of him. But he was a non-factor last season.

While I agree with you we should aspire for better, Pre-Mario/NIL the only one I personally didn't think could be ACC level at the time we took him was Mammarelli. So I'm hoping at least one steps up. If not, we're even thinner than we think. Lichtenstein is the most obvious, since he's...

@Cribby @Brooklyndee @DMoney , are all of these until-now backup veterans healthy and back for camp? Any showing promise to bust into a starting or rotational role, and id so are they good enough to be moderate-to-good ACC caliber players? Michael Redding III Wide Receiver Fourth-Year...
