Nah, I don't think he's an idiot. I just think that this is a risk he didn't need to take right now (if this was entirely his choice like they are saying from Tuscaloosa obv)
Exactly, no half measures.
If this was really DeBoer's choice I think he should've waited, pitchforks are ready and they will be out when/if Alabama will have QB problems in the future.
I'm not saying DeBoer is like Harsin because I think he is a really good coach but go ask Auburn what happened when they hired a non-recruiter that was supposedly going to out-coach and out-evaluate Saban and Smart.
Pretty ballsy move here by DeBoer, he will be judged forever by this decision if Sayin will ball elsewhere and Alabama will have problems. I'm not sure he managed this situation very well (if this is true).
