I suppose but you still need a QB who can sling it to run a Dan Mullen offense. It definitely would be nice to run multiple plays off the same look to keep defenses off guard, it's what Mike McDaniel is currently doing in Miami and how he's built his offense.

Not really a hot take. Jaccuri just isn't where he needs to be as a passer right now and that's okay. Jaccuri has massive upside but it's going to take time for him to get there, honestly reminds me a lot of Jordan Travis

We can't run a complex offense with Jaccuri right now, he's not a good passer and he's a true freshman still learning. We need to keep things simple right now in my opinion. I do love Dan mullen as a play caller though and I think he would set the ACC on fire with TVD. I'm hoping you keep...

Or someone who understands we have a true freshman QB that's making his first start and struggles to push the ball down field... Right now brown is a run first QB with spotty accuracy. You don't want him to Force anything and get picked off

They have tried to drop back and pass it with him, it's just not working and they figured out the zone read. We're really limited with what we can do right now.

Jaccuri can't run the entire offense it's pretty clear... Idk why everyone is tripping, they are playing it safe with him so he doesn't turn the ball over and we keep playing the field position game. You know how you lose games? Forcing your true freshman QB to do things he's not comfortable...

I guess but I don't think they really trust Jaccuri to throw the ball.

Can Jaccuri do that? Can he go through multiple reads? How his deep ball accuracy? Can he throw into tight windows and read defenses? He's a true freshman making his first start due to injury in a offense that's beat up upfront. Does he know the entire playbook? I don't mind them playing it safe

We have no choice

Not really much we can do, we're being forced to play a QB whose not ready and they figured out the very vanilla offense we can run, just got to try and hold on and hope we can keep getting stops.

I think they are just telling him make 1 read and if it's not there then go except on obvious 3rd and Long plays. It's a solid gameplan for a QB making his first start in my opinion
