Dropping an INT is not the same thing as having blown coverages in almost every game leading to multiple TDs. Both the former and the latter can be a matter of inattention. However, when players are consistently blowing assignments that's clearly a coaching problem.

Umm.. it kinda is part of his job to make sure players understand their responsibilities. And if he's coaching them but they keep making mistakes, he's either not coaching them well or the player needs to sit.
