Exactly. The whole AAU thing is a telltale sign for me. All of a sudden, we are admitted into AAU and Clemson/FSU are not there at least yet. Tells me that Clemson/FSU are SEC bound and we are B1G bound. It's just going to take a while to get all of the details and timing worked out.

Iger has been squawking like a school girl about ESPN and the entire broadcast model lately. He was very open and honest on his CNBC interview a few weeks ago when everyone was in Montana or Idaho (can't really remember). Clearly there are many things going on behind the scenes right now. But...

My sister-in-law, who is a nurse, does the same thing with medical TV shows. She makes fun of us because we like shows like The Good Doctor and The Resident. Like, we know it's not real....it's for entertainment purposes. I've never understood why people can't separate the two.

Makes a ton of sense. Was hoping that ND would somehow become a full member of B1G so we get to schedule them more regularly but otherwise sounds like it’s going to work out well for us in the end.

Disappointing but if it takes one more year to get everything we need and is better for the program/university long term then it is what it is.

Good to know. 2024 always seemed to be a pie in the sky scenario anyway. 2025 or later always seemed much more realistic.

That would be an interesting twist but can't imagine it has any truth to it. Didn't they just (or maybe they're about to) sign an agreement with NBC paying them $65M per just for football?

gotta admit that I'm baffled by the Stanford decision. What better options could they have at this point? are they really putting their eggs in the ACC basket?

Kind of feels like this ACC/Pac-12 marriage may pick up steam now to make a nationwide conference. Once the ACC big boys leave it could at least be somewhat compelling from a media/viewership standpoint and may ultimately be able to demand more than the $20M per school that Apple reportedly offered.

Based on all of the talk around here, #2 sounds like it.
