Ryan Day will be next UM coach (article)

Sure. But at that time, many of us were questioning Coker because although we were winning, it didn't look the way it should. I don't watch a lot of OSU, but every time I see them, I am impressed with the efficiency and crispness on offense. They always seem well coached on that side of the ball. In fact, I've routinely cited on this board how much I like that they can manipulate tempo. They can go really, really fast but also slow down where appropriate.

Ryan Day took over playcalling duties last year, the previous year Kevin Wilson was the one actually calling plays

TrumpyCane doesn't think its a coincidence the offense took a major step back

Ryan Day was also a **** playcaller when he was at BC

Notre Dame game is a perfect example

They won the game and the playcalling was horrific especially on short yardage

I wondered why OSU fans hated Day but watched enough of their games last year where I was like “oh ok I get it”
