"Really, that was my first offer so I had to give them a chance at least," Antoine told InsideTheU. "Coming down to Miami and connecting with the coaching staff, everybody is cool–Louisiana natives. The whole defensive staff really from Louisiana, or ties to Louisiana."
"It's a big thing honestly," Antoine said of Miami's staff having those hometown connections. "My momma got to drop me off at college. I know they're people who can take care of me and I'll be straight with them."
"Florida State and Texas. It's really Miami and LSU though," Antoine said.
The plan is to visit LSU in-season and take an official to Florida State this summer. He plans to return to Miami for a home game this fall. "I'll be making a decision during the season probably," Antoine said of making a final call on his recruitment.
