Maybe my presentation is off. I do think there’s a sizable amount of the fan base that’s just not realistic and thinks things will happen because they want it to.

I’m a Canes fan 100%. Am alum and I invest in season tickets every year. Just because I don’t think the committee will put us in doesn’t make me a bad fan.

I agree. And I never suggested that. I said that telling other fans they are dumb for being hopeful of making the CFP, is being a bad fan. U didn’t do that, but you did wager your account on us not making it. I responded that I don’t understand why you would do that.

If given the choice it’s OU. That’s a classic half-team that does not belong in the playoff and will likely be one and done regardless of who they play.

Now I do think A&M will run out of gas in the playoff too, but they’re a better team than OU and a tougher place to play

Bama losing badly brought up lots of memories of them getting whooped by FSU. A close loss tonight and that probably stays hidden in the memory banks. Getting mauled just brought those memories rushing back, and I promise you those memories rushed for more than -2 yards.

Bama has looked awful for a month now. Simpson went from being a Heisman candidate to cheeks. He’s so bad Bama fans were yelling for him to be benched. Plus, I just noticed Duke is beating Virginia lol. The committee is running out of ways to keep us out. BYU lost, we beat Notre Dame, we beat FSU who whipped Bama, and now you throw in the fact that they’re going to want to put at least 1 ACC team in and they literally have no argument left to keep us out.

Media narrative too strong on our side. Even Herbstreit is saying (he thinks) Miami in and conversation now shifts between who to let in between Bama and ND.

Tough to justify a 3 loss Bama with a bad loss against FSU over ND or Miami.
Both ND and Miami in and no one except Bama fans will really complain.

I don’t even think Bama fans believe they have a complaint at this point. Not after what happened today.
