hard to believe there are dummies on here who can't understand this concept!

Notre Dame is praying Bama loses so that they will drop behind the Irish and IN FRONT OF MIAMI

then no head to head.

it's over boys.
Come on man the head-to-head stuff has sailed. The entire freaking country and half the world is talking about it. This BS that they have to be side by side in order to compare head-to-head is BS. When it comes down to Alabama, ND and Miami getting in or not, it doesn't matter where Alabama is, Miami's still going to get in instead of Notre Dame. Nick Saban went off this morning on National TV about it and anybody with a sports platform, even the Miami haters have said the same thing. It will literally make the regular season useless moving forward. College football can't risk that. Everyone's out of conference schedule now be Toledo, Miami of Ohio, and University of Texas San Antonio. Because everybody plays enough good teams in their conference to still be in the top 12 with one loss.... And they would be proving you don't need to play anybody strong outside of your conference.

So you guys act like they can only drop Alabama one spot by rule. There isn't a rule for that. The eye test is still valid and they can easily drop two spots. If that knocks them out, so be it.
Yup.

And Bama fans are not going to make much of a stink about it. They lost and looked anemic.

Canes fans and Media in general will complain if they are left out.

Too much pressure.

It's that this is a conference championship game and not a regular season game.

We would want the same thing if we lost in their shoes. You shouldnt get punished *too much* for being top 2 in your conference.
