I don’t feel we went into a shell this week, just a lot of bad penalties killed any kind of momentum. We ran it up in the 3rd when given the chance.
 
Oh look, another dumbass "Fan" that runs to narratives. If Mario coaches scared, he wouldn't be going for it in close games, when he could easily take the FG. Let's keep it 100 about tonight: Miami didn't execute late and FSU was able to benefit from some terrible penalties and guys falling asleep on the backend. Look at those FSU scoring drives, it was junk ball, Castellanos running for his life and praying someone got open somewhere, so he could throw up a wobbly duck. That's not sustainable in the least, and had the Miami secondary stayed disciplined, they would have had another 2-4 picks.

Offensively, I think that Dawson went to the run a little too early in the third, there were far too many explosives still out there, because FSU was selling out to stop the run. Beck was hot, let him spin it, let the receivers win these 1 on 1 matchups, because they were winning.

Someone has to give me examples of us going into a shell tonight, I just didn’t see it.

Defense was amazing and we were blowing them out for 3/4. Then we happened to have a three and out on offense, followed by the Noles completing an unimaginable amount of third and longs, fourth and longs, some lame referees, and the midget avoiding game ending sacks by the skin of his teeth repeatedly. It was just flukey.
 
The announcers were saying fswho online hand their hands full all night as you seen hands full of white jerseys. The dline still almost got there. I dont think we play a weird offense like this the rest of the season

And last game we ran it down UF’s throats the same way. Listen, I think we should have called play action a couple times, but penalties killed us tonight. Cost us another TD. Killed a number of drives.

The drive after the first onside kick. Got the ball at the 43 and proceeded to run out of the obvious run personnel on back to back plays for no gain.

Not every game is the same… what was killing FSU all night?

Toney and Daniel’s… what opened up the lead? What did we get away from that let them back in?

Look there’s a time and place to start draining the clock and it’s halfway through the 4th. You got caught milking a lead and you ended with a nail biter when Emory should have been handing it off to Pringle at the end for his redemption of breaking his arm

The announcers also said that Miami went conservative again but I guess you didn't listen to that part

Can this guy get the banned already at least within 24 hours of a victory? Every **** week we beat a good team and it's instant we suck. Go to bed!

he went for it on 4th and 2 and scored a TD. That was ballsy. The players being stupid took a TD off the board and killed who knows how many drives. Defense was gassed. Truth is we don’t have much depth on D,
so the offense needs to hold the ball. I put 100% of this on the offense. D got INTs, forced fumbles, and had Tommy scared. Then 4th quarter they were obviously exhausted. I am not that disappointed with the D. None of the 4th quarter collapse happens if the offense does its job.
